Ossining Dog Park

On Memorial Day Weekend we wanted to take Shio to a new, fun place. So Ting did a bunch of research and found Ossining Dog Park. I have to say, we were a little bit disappointed because the dog park (not the park overall, but the part specifically for dogs) was pretty small. It did, however, have various agility training type play-things for Shio to explore.

Being a shiba, Shio did not really play with anything... He kind of just hung out at various spots and observed the environment...

After about 15 / 20 minutes, Shio went to the exit gate himself and waited for us to take him back into the car, where it was nice and air-conditioned...

Shio at Prospect Park

Now that we have finally settled down, Shio has made his return to Prospect Park. Shio is much happier in the open field vs. the dog run. Lately, he has been prone to getting angry and fighting with other dogs at the nearby dog-run.

Check out the little bit of treat left on Shio's tongue! Hee hee...
