Me: "Shio -- want some goji berries?"
Shio: "Yes please!!"
Shio: "Tastes kind of funny, but I like it..."
Shio: "It's so small... Hard to chew...!! It's getting stuck in my teeth!!"
Shio: "Hmmm... Not sure if I love it... But I will take another one dad!"

The sight of 15 or more shibas together is quite amazing / amusing. I cannot speak for others, but shiba owners are really passionate about their dogs and the breed. And how can you blame us? Shibas are so fully of personality and quirky traits. Once you go shiba, you cannot go back! So how did the Canine Cocktail Pawty go? See for yourself!

Our family was able to be a part of the planning process this year and we took charge of the aesthetics of the event.
Best part... we were able to meet some of our virtual Shiba buddies in real life! GO TWIBAS!
Before we start with the pictures of the decorations, we want to give a big birthday shout to EMMIE THE SUPERDOG! What does she want for her birthday? Donations to help raise her personal goal of $35,000 for Hike for our Heroes. You can donate by visiting this website: http://drumhike.com/superdogs/emmie-the-superdog/
Here's a quick peek at the fruits of our labor! Yes, those are doggy cake balls for our furry friends. :)

Where is Shio? Why does he look so concerned? Why is there a mess around him?
On the next season of Shio the Shiba...
